The Lone Star Groundwater Conservation District office will be closed on Thursday, December 24th, and Friday, December 25th for the Christmas holiday. We will re-open on Monday, December 28th at 8:00 a.m.

9th Annual Gulf Coast Water Conservation Symposium

Integrating Water Management on the Texas Gulf Coast: Moving Forward with a One Water Approach.

This two-day virtual program will occur Wednesday, October 28 - Thursday, October 29, 2020. Each day's programming will take place from 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

The Gulf Coast Water Conservation Symposium provides water utilities and other organizations interested in water management and conservation with the information needed to implement successful water conservation programs, effectively engage customers, and plan for the future. This year's symposium is focused on case studies and tools to help attendees identify challenges and solutions for successfully managing water as an integrated resource.

Tickets are $25 for General Admission. Students, teachers, and faculty receive discounted rate of $10. CEUs will be offered through self-reporting for architects and engineers. Additional credits are pending approval for water professionals through the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).
