Education & Conservation outreach coordinator

The Lone Star Groundwater Conservation District is seeking a dedicated, self-motivated, creative individual to administer the District’s education, conservation and community outreach programs; increase engagement and educate school children and the general public regarding water conservation; design and create content for monthly magazine article; author press releases; and create content for website and info-graphics. Permitting assistant

The Lone Star Groundwater Conservation District is seeking a detail-oriented, dynamic individual to work closely with other Permitting staff to ensure proper permitting and documentation of groundwater use as well as verifying accuracy of well registrations; communicating with well registrants on compliance issues; verifying well locations and meters; and verifying and enhancing the District’s well permit database. This individual will also be expected to perform moderately complex scanning and technical assistance work.
